Simon Wiesenthal was liberated from Mauthausen Concentration Camp by units of the U.S. Army on May 5, 1945. Within days, he was contributing to the post-war efforts of the American liberators and thus began a quest for justice against Nazi perpetrators to which he dedicated the rest of his life.

For the past four decades, Holocaust historian, Dr. Efraim Zuroff, has continued that work and maintained Wiesenthal's legacy. Dr. Zuroff is the chief Nazi-hunter of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Director of the Center's Israel Office and Eastern European Affairs. He has played a major role in facilitating the prosecution of many Nazi war criminals all over the world. Dr. Zuroff joins us from Jerusalem to explain why the quest for justice is still important today, and to illustrate the difficulties we have been facing in our efforts over the past 4o years, by telling the stories of several cases which highlight the successes and failures we have experienced in the quest for justice
