Leading While Female: Your Take-Action Guide to Gender Equity
A Participatory Book Study Series
Receive the book... My Leading While Female Journey: A Guided Reflective Journal, 2023
As we look at the data, we can safely say women are doing the work of classroom teaching while disproportionately, men are making administrative and leadership decisions. Combining the first-hand experiences of diverse leaders, including members of the LGBTQI+ communities, with research on feminism, intersectionality, and leadership, Arriaga, Stanley, and Lindsey support readers to break down the barriers and lead the way for future generations of female leaders. Receive a free copy of the book and join peers in this guided discussion to move from reflection to action.
Join us for:
- Support to identify barriers and formulate methods to overcome them,
- opportunities to record their experiences following a narrative protocol for their Stormy First Draft (SFD),
- a writing experience derived from nine chapters of guided reflective journal entries,
- leadership stories and figures to provide guidance and illustrate the need for gender equity,
- and opportunities for males who are mentors and allies to dismantle gender bias.
