After the war Mendek immigrated to the United States and against all odds achieved prosperity with seven patented inventions including a bracelet clasp which revolutionized the jewelry industry and equipment to wash and package lettuce which revolutionized the salad industry. The book follows his journey as a Holocaust Survivor from despair and suffering to a mindful life of joy and peace.
