Everything changed for Cornelius Walker when Damilola Taylor was killed in what became one of the UK’s most high-profile murder cases. Damilola was 10 years old – the same age as Cornelius. He lived only five minutes away and he shared the same skin color. Cornelius’s mother, scared for her son’s safety, moved their family out of London, and Cornelius suddenly found himself living in a white neighborhood run by racists. What follows is an extraordinary story of fractured identity and the things we do to survive.
Q&A with Filmmakers following the screening.
