About Jack Voorzanger

Jack Voorzanger was a courageous child survivor of the Holocaust, born in the Netherlands, hidden throughout the war, yet beaten and forced to convert to Catholicism by the man who saved him. 75 members of Jack's family were murdered during the Holocaust.

After the war, Jack rebuilt his life and came to the United States. When Jack retired from his successful photo lab business, he began to volunteer at the SWC Archives, assisting with archival scanning of the SWC collection as a dedicated volunteer for over 18 years.

The Voorzanger family has generously endowed the Jack Voorzanger Archival Internship in his memory.
