We do not currently offer programming for students younger than 5th grade.

Time in the Museum
Holocaust Exhibit/Social Lab tour typically runs three hours; adding Anne exhibition or survivor testimony adds time; Anne exhibition alone is ~90 minutes (lunch break not included).
Ordinary People, Extraordinary Stories is a 2 hour program that begins at 10 AM.

Tour Start Times
For group tours the earliest start time is at 8:30 AM; then every 30 minutes; last at 12:30 PM. -

The Museum of Tolerance requires 2 adults per each 25 students. -

Food and Drink
No outside food or drink may be consumed in the Museum or courtyard. Water bottles are allowed.
There are great picnic sites within walking distance from the Museum, including Roxbury Park and Cheviot Hills Park, and dining options along Pico Blvd and Beverly Dr.

Security
All bags are subject to search by Museum security staff. Students are not allowed to bring backpacks.
For the safety and comfort of all visitors, the following items are not permitted in the Museum:

Paints/chemical/flammable substances (e.g., pepper spray)

Cutting/striking tools or tool parts (e.g., knives, scissors)

Drones and photo/videography equipment

Limited multilingual docents are available by advance request. -
Grants
Limited free tickets are available for Title 1 schools (July-February). -
Restrooms
Single-stall/gender neutral restrooms are available. Please discuss needs with your docent or any floor staff.
