ACSA Region 16, in partnership with The Museum of Tolerance, invites ACSA members from all over CA* to join us for a conference dedicated to exploring the application of cultural proficiency beyond words to deeds, beyond intention to impact.

Sunday, March 27, 2022 | 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

IN-PERSON at the Museum of Tolerance, 9786 W. Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, 90035 (parking is free)

This FREE Conference includes:

  • Speakers such as Randall Lindsey and Delores Lindsey, renowned cultural proficiency authors and guides to educational leaders nationwide on their journey to equitable and socially just practices.
  • Workshops with thought leaders such as Opening Keynote speaker Dr. Victor Rios, professor, author, and advocate for at-promise students and their parents.
  • Your choice of one guided exhibit experience such as Anne Frank Exhibit, Finding Our Families, Finding Ourselves, or The Social Lab. Includes facilitated dialogue.
  • Keynote presentation by Dydine Umunyana: A Survivor of the Rwanda Genocide Against the Tutsis, Dydine founded Umuco Love to provide educational programs to raise awareness and understanding of the connections between all people through cultural storytelling as well as helping individuals to heal from trauma and challenges in life.

Meals are included. Connect with colleagues, old and new, at breakfast and lunch.
