In the midst of one of the most weighty and charged elections in our history and at a time of immense division in our country the Museum of Tolerance and Resetting the Table invite you to a special virtual screening of the new film: PURPLE, America We Need To Talk.

PURPLE tells the story of everyday Americans with opposing viewpoints addressing their differences head-on and discovering some of the concerns and humanity that lie behind each other’s positions. Designed to build greater empathy and recognition in the face of deepening U.S. divides, PURPLE models a rare conversation that uplifts and inspires even while going toward the heat of passionate political differences.

Join a spirited and meaningful conversation following the screening with Liebe Geft, Director of the Museum of Tolerance and Melissa Weintraub, Founding Co-Executive Director of Resetting The Table.

This program is part of the MOT’s sought-after series of Community Conversations, creating space to hear and be heard. We encourage friends, family, neighbors, students, fellow congregants, and colleagues to participate together, and gain insight and inspiration around what we can do to help stem the tide of increasing polarization and division in our country.

RSVP required.
