As the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis is one of the most revered individuals on Earth. The documentary feature, FRANCESCO, provides unprecedented access to the man behind the cloth. This film takes an unsparing look at the Pope and his response to the most pressing challenges of the 21st century including climate change, immigration, religious tolerance, LGBTQ rights, and economic equality.

Following the screening, Senior Awards Analyst for The Hollywood Reporter, Scott Feinberg, moderates a discussion with the Director of Francesco, Evgeny Afineevsky, and the two-time Academy Award®️ winning Founder and Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Rabbi Marvin Hier.

On July 18, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) re-implemented the mandate requiring everyone to wear masks while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. The Museum of Tolerance is adhering to this mandate and masks will be required. Please click here to view our Safety Measures and Protocols before attending the October 21 screening.
