Dear Friend of Children’s Literature:
The world of literature has produced many outstanding examples of fiction and non-fiction that speak to us in the most profound and affecting ways about social justice and human dignity. Yet nowhere is this power to touch and influence more important than in the realm of children’s literature. In recognition of this, the prestigious annual Once Upon A World Children’s Book Award has been sponsored by the Museum of Tolerance and the Library of the Simon Wiesenthal Center for the past 18 years to foster the themes of tolerance, diversity, respect and social justice.
We invite you to participate in the 2014 Once Upon A World Children’s Book Award by applying to become a judge.
