Special screening of excerpts from the new PBS documentary, based on his book. Goldhagen is also the author of the #1 international bestseller, Hitler’s Willing Executioners. A former Associate Professor of Political Science and Social Studies at Harvard University, he is the son of Holocaust Survivor and retired Harvard professor Erich Goldhagen. And the clock is ticking. But Efraim Zuroff will not give up. In 2002, Zuroff launched a vast campaign called “Operation Last Chance” to find the biggest Nazi criminals, before it’s too late. Combining the thrill of a detective story with the inherent poignancy of WWII history, Operation Last Chance delivers the important and moving story of one man’s efforts to being criminals to justice. Featuring Matthew Boger and Tim Zaal, this presentation examines the roots of prejudice and discrimination and the ability to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Using a Question and Answer session, Matthew and Tim engage the audience in a discussion of redemption and the power of forgiveness.
