BRING YOUR CLASS TO THE MUSEUM OF TOLERANCE, an interactive, high-tech experience that inspires students to learn from the past, engage in the present, and assume responsibility for the future. Students participate in hands-on learning through multimedia exhibits and group activities.
Teachers receive the Museum’s Teachers’ Guide aligned to California academic standards for prep work and follow-up to sustain the learning.

Educational Tours and Specialized Programs for Youth:
- To Schedule your Tour: Please call Group Reservations at 310.772.7639 and speak to our Field Trip Coordinator to arrange for your tour. The Museum offers guided tours for all school field trips and groups of 20 or more. Advance reservations are required. Tickets are sold for specific dates and times, with morning programs beginning at 8:30 a.m.
- Location: The Museum of Tolerance is located at 9786 West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles 90035. Click here for directions .
- Security: All visitors and vehicles to the Museum will be screened. Students with a group do not need individual IDs. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled tour time to proceed through Security.
- Cafeteria: The Museum Cafeteria provides light meals, snacks and refreshments and is located on the 4th floor of the Museum. Reservations are recommended, 310.772.2518. Please note: no outside food is allowed in the Museum.
- For Private Automobiles: Free underground parking in Museum complex (entrance on Pico Boulevard.) Please do not park on residential streets.
- For Buses:
- Please do not park, unload or drive on residential streets. USE PICO BLVD. ONLY.
- Unload passengers at 9786 West Pico Blvd. in front of the Museum.
- Bus engines must be turned off during loading and unloading of passengers.
- Buses must park at Rancho Park only (corner of Pico and Motor Avenue). Buses must park in designated parking stalls

- No drinks, food, gum or backpacks in the Museum.
- Security Procedures – All visitors pass through security screening when entering the Museum. Please arrive 15 minutes early to accommodate procedures. Students with groups do not need individual IDs.
- Two chaperones per 25 students- Chaperones are expected to supervise student behavior. Please emphasize respectful student demeanor.
- Bring emergency contact information for students
- Bring a sweater
- Name tags
- Buses drop off and pick up groups in front of the Museum. Buses are instructed to park at Rancho Park.
- When your bus arrives, please have one chaperone check in at the Front Desk with an exact student and adult count. You will receive directions from the Museum Floor Manager. For the safety of your students, please do not disembark from the buses until given permission to do so.
