Family Sunday at the MOT!

12:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Bring your family and join us for an afternoon of inspiring and educational programs! 

All events and programs listed below are included with your admission, Summer Pass, or membership.

Family STEPS to ToleranceTM Program (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm). Participate in an age-appropriate introduction to Holocaust history, with hands-on artifacts discovery and a bullying prevention workshop with your children (recommended 9 - 13 years). They will be inspired by the testimony of a Holocaust Survivor, who was a child during the Holocaust.
Advanced registration recommended for the Family Sunday STEPS to ToleranceTM program. Purchase your ticket and reserve your space by calling 310.772.2505.

Arts and Crafts (12:00pm – 4:00pm). Learn how to make a paper origami crane!

Storytime (12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm). MOTivating Teen Volunteers will read selected books on themes of tolerance.


Public Tours of the TolerancenterTM offered at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm (first come, first served - age appropriate for 11+)

American Sign Language (ASL) tour of the the Holocaust Exhibit and Tolerancenter™ (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm)

Spanish language tour at 2:00pm (age appropriate for all). Exhibit TBD by participants.
