“He is the moving, roaring protector of the rights afforded every person in this nation. Get in the Way arrives at the perfect moment!” - Alfrie Woodard, Actor, Activist

Special Q&A following the screening with Veterans of the Civil Rights Movement: Bob Farrell, Ralph Fertig, Peggy Dammond Preacely and Dr. Robert and Helen Singleton, moderated by Donna Brown Guillaume, consulting producer of Get In The Way.

Get in the Way captures the inspiring story of John Lewis, a civil rights hero, congressional leader and human rights champion whose unwavering fight for justice spans the past 50 years. A riveting portrait of Lewis’ personal journey of courage, hard-won triumphs and searing disappointments, the film challenges all of us to stand up, speak out, resolve to take action and Get in the Way.
