Varujan Vosganian is a Romanian politician, economist, essayist and poet of Armenian heritage. Vosganian served as Romania's Minister of Economy and Commerce from 2006–2008 and Minister of Economy from 2012–2013. He has been a member of Parliament since Romania’s first free election in 1990. He has authored works on economics and has published many literary texts. He has received international acclaim for authoring The Book of Whispers, a harrowing account of the Armenian Genocide documented through the stories of those who managed to survive and descendants who refuse to forget. It has been published in over 20 languages.

A book signing will follow the program.
