PINWHEEL EXHIBIT

12pm - 4pm
Create a Self-Portrait
Participate in the Students Rebuild Facing Difference Challenge to empower young people to reflect and take action toward building understanding, empathy and peace. For every self-portrait you submit, the Bezos Family Foundation will donate $3 to help young people across conflict zones engage in dialogue and work toward peace.

2:30pm Exhibit Opening Program
Special Speakers including a recent refugee and participant in the IRC’s Peacemakers Project. Enjoy refreshments.


About the Exhibit
An inspiring exhibit of pinwheels that were created by Syrian children living in a refugee camp in Lebanon and by youth all over the world who participated in the Students Rebuild Healing Classroom Challenge in support of their Syrian peers. This unique exhibition was created by Students Rebuild and the Bezos Family Foundation with special student curators from Montlake Elementary School in Seattle, Washington. On display at the MOT September 17th – January 7th, 2018.
