The never-before-told story of the courageous individuals in Nazi-occupied Albania who saved the lives of thousands of Jews during World War II, witnessed through the prism of two men joined together in a remarkable and unexpected quest: a renowned Jewish-American photographer determined to record the bravery and compassion of the Albanians; and a Muslim-Albanian toy shop owner who sets out to return three precious books to the last surviving member of the Jewish family his father sheltered sixty years before their meeting sets in motion an extraordinary and unexpected drama that bridges generations and religions.

The Museum will close at 3:30pm on Wednesday, September 24th and will remain closed until Sunday, September 28th for Rosh Hashanah.

MOT is sold out of main museum level tickets on Friday, October 3rd due to a high volume of school groups and early close at 2:30 pm.
Tickets for Anne Frank are available on the 3rd; the last entrance time will be 1:00 pm.
