Emmy Award winning and Israeli Oscar nominated composer Misha Segal, who will be dedicating a special musical tribute to his mother, Elizabeth Buchhalter Segal, 1920 – 2001


Internationally acclaimed and accomplished artist Mark Strickland, whose art has been exhibited at the Dachau Concentration Camp.

Program director Lynn Roth executive produced the award-winning series The Paper Chase, directed Voices of the Soul (Carnegie Hall) and is the playwright of Freud (Abbey Theater in Dublin, Ireland). She is also the writer, producer and director of the critically acclaimed movie, The Little Traitor, based on the novel by Amos Oz.

Misha Segal and Mark Strickland will sign their CDs and books after the program.

In observance of Passover, the last entry to the Museum of Tolerance will be at 1:00pm on Friday, April 22nd. The Museum will close at 3:30pm and will remain closed through Sunday, April 24th. On Thursday, April 28th, the last entry to the museum will be at 1:00pm. The museum will close at 3:30pm and will remain closed through Friday, April 29th. During the week of Passover, the cafeteria on the fourth floor will also be closed.

Due to the high volume of school groups on weekdays during this time of year, we strongly recommend that public visitors purchase tickets for 1p.m. or later to optimize your experience and not have to wait long for timed exhibits.
