9/11 Commemoration 

Please join us with your family, friends, or house of worship to light a candle and read aloud the name of every victim


names of 9/11 victims will be read throughout the day until 5:00pm


11:00am formal program with Mayor Villaraigosa, Rabbi Marvin Hier, community leaders, diplomats and the LAPD Band


Please register online to participate in the formal ceremony or to sign up to read names.

In observance of Passover, the last entry to the Museum of Tolerance will be at 1:00pm on Friday, April 22nd. The Museum will close at 3:30pm and will remain closed through Sunday, April 24th. On Thursday, April 28th, the last entry to the museum will be at 1:00pm. The museum will close at 3:30pm and will remain closed through Friday, April 29th. During the week of Passover, the cafeteria on the fourth floor will also be closed.

Due to the high volume of school groups on weekdays during this time of year, we strongly recommend that public visitors purchase tickets for 1p.m. or later to optimize your experience and not have to wait long for timed exhibits.
