The Secret of Priest's Grotto: A Holocaust Survival Story

A special program for Middle School Classes

Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11:00am

In 1942 several Jewish families fleeing the Nazi’s disappeared into the vast underground labyrinths of Western Ukraine.  This story was almost forgotten until American Caver Christos Nicola came across their underground asylum.  It took 10 years and many trips to the Ukraine before the pieces of the story began to make sense.

Meet Chris and hear his story including first hand accounts of those who lived through the ordeal in the caves and survived.

No charge.  Advance registration required.  Call 310.772.2498.
