The Museum of Tolerance was presented with a beautiful gift from Hughes Middle School in Long Beach. The students were inspired by last year’s Family Sunday, “GO GREEN,” and made a banner out of recycled bags ironed and sewn together. The message reads “Tolerance.”

Hughes Middle School is on a mission to recycle one ton of plastics and aluminum materials. Statistics say that 112 pounds of materials are used by each student every year. They are happy to report that they are well on their way with 15, 000 pounds of paper already recycled and over 15,000 pounds of plastics and aluminum taken in.
