Simple, Not Easy
Reflections on Community, Social Responsibility and Tolerance
Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 7:00pm
Following a racial incident in an Arkansas hamburger joint in the early 1950's, 13 year-old Terrence Roberts found the resolve that eventually helped him become one of the nine courageous African American students who desegregated Little Rock's Central High School in 1957.
Dr. Roberts will share insights from his memoirs, Lesson from Little Rock, and discuss his new collection of essays, Simple, Not Easy: Reflections on Community, Social Responsibility and Tolerance.
