The Museum of Tolerance is pleased to present a special screening of:
The Life and Times of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 7:30pm
Raised in the rigorous monastic tradition of Tibet, Chogyam Trungpa, the brilliant ‘bad boy of Buddhism,’ fled the Communist invasion, studied at Oxford, and shattered Westerners’ notions of how an enlightened teacher should behave. Even his critics agree that Trungpa's unhidden, outrageous lifestyle never blocked his ability to translate and transplant profound ancient teachings that would forever penetrate our modern western culture.
Q & A following the screening with:
Johanna Demetrakas, Director/Producer,
Lisa Leeman, Producer,
Kate Amend, Editor,
and Pablo Bryant, Director of Photography.
