Due to heavy visitor attendance, advance reservations are strongly recommended.

PARKING
The MOT offers free underground parking in the Museum complex. Please do not park on residential side streets.

SECURITY PROCEDURES
All visitors and vehicles to the MOT will be screened. Photo ID is required for admission.

DINING
The Museum Cafeteria provides light meals, snacks, and refreshments and is located on the 4th Floor of the Museum.

ACCESSIBILITY AND SPECIAL NEEDS
The MOT is accessible to all visitors. 

    • Wheelchairs- All exhibits are wheelchair accessible.  Standard wheelchairs are available from the Security Office at no charge. To borrow a wheelchair, visitors will be asked to leave a driver’s license or I.D. with Security.
    • Parking- There are accessible parking spaces located near the elevator on the entry level of the parking lot.
    • Restrooms- All public restrooms include accessible facilities.
    • Assistive Animals- Visitors who require assistive animals, such as guide-dogs, are welcome to bring them to the MOT.
    • Braille Text- To help visitors who are blind or vision impaired, a Braille Museum Orientation is available at the Front Desk.
    • To help visitors who are hearing impaired, a number of exhibits include closed captioning or text panels.  The Front Desk has a large print Museum Orientation, with text description of many of the exhibits.
    • Sign Language Interpreters – At this time, the MOT is not able to provide Sign Language Interpreters.  However, Sign Language Interpreters, who are accompanying school groups or the public and assisting visitors who are hearing impaired, are admitted to the Museum at no charge.
