From the Depths of Hate: Personal Testimony

In this powerful seminar Tim Zaal shares an in-depth look at his life as a former White Supremacist. He describes his induction into the White Supremacy movement, his departure and transition, and the process of reconciliation with one of his former victims. The session begins with the Academy Award®-nominated short doc called Facing Fear which tells the true story of pain and reconciliation between Tim as the perpetrator of a hate crime, and his victim. The film retraces the haunting accounts of the attack and the startling revelation that brought these men together again. Watch as they share the roots of the ideologies that drove them and the friendship they ultimately forged. Following the film, Tim joins us live and, with the help of a facilitator, answers your questions in a Q&A.
