RECOGNIZING THE RIGHTEOUS
We recognize the newest addition to Yad Vashem’s Righteous Among The Nations, from the Netherlands, Wilhelmina and Cornelis de Ru who saved Jewish lives during the World War II including the life of young Maurits Kopuit. Their grandchildren share their story.

TRIBUTE TO HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS
including From the Shoah to Skokie and Berkley
Ben Stern – who survived the Holocaust, including nine concentration camps – led a small group of Survivors who rallied thousands to stop a Nazi rally in Skokie 30 years after the Shoah. Recently he rose to confront the Nazis again in Berkeley. Ben is the subject of his daughter’s award-winning documentary film, Near Normal Man.

This program is offered free of charge but seating is limited and advance reservations are required.
